WAA is a non-profit volunteer organization. We are always looking for volunteers, donations and community involvement!

Interested in learning more about WAA? Please stop by our office, give us a call or email us (contact information below)
Interest in donating to WAA? See the link below to donate online. We also have an annual golf outing that is advertised on the homepage when registration opens each spring.
Interested in volunteering? Volunteers are typically accepted during the sport registration process, however, please call or email if you are interested in joining the WAA Board of Directors, interested in becoming a specific Sport Director or interested in coaching (and do not have a participant registered).

Monday through Thursday - 10am - 6pm
Friday - 10am-4pm (seasonally adjusted)
Saturday - 8am-Noon
Sunday - Closed
Hours may vary seasonally and on holidays. Please call the WAA office for more information.

The WAA Sports Center and WAA Training Center are open by appointment and typically open daily after 4pm and weekends.

Giving Tuesday Donation

Thank you for considering a donation to Wheatland Athletics youth programs and encouraging participation in youth sports. Youth sports, specifically participation in team sports, is declining across the country, but WAA is working with partners to grow involvement in Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Soccer and Flag Football. Help us to encourage kids to stay active and keep the cost of participation low for local families.

The Wheatland Athletic Association (WAA), established in 1977, is a non-profit, volunteer organization, serving over 12,000 registrants annually. Participants range in age from preschoolers through adult.

WAA is a leader in the Community and gives back by offering year round team sports opportunities and:

Funding and developing athletic fields including fields at Commissioner’s Park, Wheatland Salem Church, Crossroads Community Church, Gregory Middle School and more
Awarding $5,000 annually in College Scholarships to local High School Seniors
Offering need based Scholarships to local participants
Working with local High School students with disabilities by providing a vocational work site.
Offering work opportunities to local youth as interns, officials, field crew and office staff.

As we celebrate Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join us in shaping the future of youth sports in our community. Your support helps us maintain quality programs, upgrade facilities, and make participation possible for all families—regardless of financial circumstances.
