Pro Academy Soccer

Pro Academy Information

Pro Academy classes are for the motivated soccer player, ages 5-10 years old, desiring a more challenging training environment. Participants will focus will be on ball-mastery (1 player 1 ball) and should be currently and/or previously enrolled in WAA recreational soccer leagues or participated in skills classes or summer camp.

Conducted by Team Chicago Soccer Club professional coaches, the goal of Pro Academy is to provide training that bridges recreation and travel soccer. There are no games in Pro Academy classes.

Players that can consistently execute the skills and understand the concepts presented in Pro Academy may be invited to Team Chicago team tryout or practices.

Policies and Equipment

Equipment:

Players must wear Pro Academy jersey, soccer shorts, shin guards under the socks and soccer socks with soccer shoes
All players must have size 3 (grades K-2nd) or size 4 (grade 3) ball with name and phone number on it and a water bottle
Soccer cleats should be worn for spring, summer, and fall sessions. Bring flat soled shoes in case the program is moved indoors due to weather conditions. (If available)
For Winter sessions, flat soled shoes ONLY. NO CLEATS, Velcro, or slip-on shoes.

Prior to Attending:

Parents must make sure participants are symptom free prior to attending.
Players should wash hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer before participating
