D1 Fox Valley
2026 D1 Training (Ducks/Spikes ONLY)
WAA Baseball/Softball Off-Season Strength & Conditioning Program 2025-26
Description: An age-based, sports-science backed, off-season strength & conditioning program designed & led by D1 Training Fox Valley’s certified coaches. Through a combination of turf and weightroom work, the program will develop an athlete’s full-body strength, speed, agility, power, mobility and injury resistance. It will emphasize baseball/softball-specific movement patterns and needs such as rotational power, lateral-to-linear speed, hand-eye coordination and shoulder mobility/strength.
Dates: September 8, 2025 – February 28, 2026
Schedule: Ages 7-9: Mondays 5pm; Ages 10-13: M-F 6pm; Sat 11am; Ages 14+: M-F 7pm; Sat 11am Athletes will also have access to our full schedule of age-based strength & conditioning classes: Rookies (7-11yrs): M-F 5:30pm, Sat 9am; Developmental (12-14yrs): M-F 6:30pm, Sat 10am; Preps (15+): 7:30pm, Sat 10am
Class Duration/Format: Scheduled 54-minute group classes led by our certified trainers.
Class Packs: Each athlete is provided a 24-Pack of classes that can be used to register for Baseball/Softball Program and Rookie/Devo/Prep classes. 8 of the 24 classes must be used by and will expire on December 31, 2025. Class Packs are valid only from September 8, 2025 – February 28, 2026, are nonextendable, non-refundable, non-proratable, have no cash value, may not be exchanged for any other services, and may not be transferred or assigned.
NEW D1 TRAINING APP: D1 has launched a new app which MUST be used to book all classes. All athletes must download the new D1 App and create an account in the athlete’s name using the email already associated with your D1 account or, if you do not yet have a D1 account, the parent’s email provided to Wheatland.
Scheduling: All classes must be booked in advance using the new D1 App. You will be able to and are highly encouraged to book in advance for the entire program period. You may book up to an hour before class. Inside of an hour before class, an athlete may call D1 to verify if class roster spots are available. Classes may also be cancelled and rebooked using the D1 App. Athletes may attend multiple classes per week but only one class per day. Please only book classes that you are reasonably certain that you can attend. The booking of “placeholder” classes “just in case” should not occur as it takes valuable and limited class slots away from other Wheatland athletes.
Consistent training: The Program is premised and designed upon an athlete’s consistent attendance throughout the entire Program’s duration. A failure to book and attend classes early in and consistently throughout the Program will not only negatively affect an athlete’s performance but may lead to an inability to book and use all sessions.
On-time check-In: Athletes must be on time for all classes and check-in on the iPad at the front desk. Late athletes will at D1’s discretion be denied entry to class.
Class Size: All classes will be capped at 18 athletes. There is no minimum participation required for a class to be conducted, so classes will not be cancelled due to class size.
Age-Based Participation: Athletes may only participate in classes that correspond with their current age. Exceptions may only be made following evaluation and determination by a coach that the athlete may safely participate outside of age-level. Athletes can be evaluated during class or in a separately scheduled private assessment.
Objective Testing: Objective testing to track the athlete’s progress will be administered before and after the Program. Initial testing will occur: Tuesday, August 26 @4pm and 7pm; Thursday, August 28 @4pm and 7pm; and Saturday, September 6 @11am and 12pm
Attire and Equipment: Athletes should wear comfortable indoor workout clothes and laced athletic or turf shoes. No spikes, sandals, crocks or non-athletic shoes are permitted. Athletes should bring a water bottle. All personal belongings must be stored in a locker.
Conduct: Athletes must adhere to D1 Training Fox Valley’s and Wheatland Athletic Association’s conduct policy. Be respectful and kind at all times.
Viewing: Seating & standing room is available in our viewing bar area for parents to observe workouts.
Amenities: The following amenities are available: a) Lockers with customizable combination locks that must be used to store athlete’s personal belongings; b) Four private bathrooms, two of which are equipped with showers; c) Drinking fountains and a bottle-filling station; d) Bottled water, sports drinks & protein bars for purchase.
Waivers: All parents (or the athlete, if 18 or over) must sign a waiver prior to the athlete’s participation in the Program using the following link: https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/5np3s7m3m9qxtihky8w1ca/web/. Waivers must be completed prior to participating in any activity at D1 including, but not limited to, objective testing.
Training Frequency and Additional Services: The base 24-Pack provides for an average of 1x/wk training, however we recommend at least 3x/wk of offseason training. More frequent weekly training can be purchased for the following additional amounts: 2x/wk: Add 24-Pack for $480; 3x/wk: Add 2x/wk membership for $39.99/wk. D1on1 personal training is also available for those interested in a customized program led by a dedicated coach. Please contact us for more details and to purchase additional training.
