PROGRAM INFORMATION

Wheatland Athletic Association (WAA) Recreational Soccer is designed to give every child the opportunity to learn, grow, and love the game in a fun, safe, and positive environment. Our focus is simple: build skills, encourage teamwork, and make sure every player leaves the field feeling confident and proud.

WAA offers outdoor recreational soccer leagues in both the fall and spring for players in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Open to all skill levels, our program emphasizes learning the fundamentals of soccer while having fun and building a lifelong appreciation for the game.

Our Kindergarten program features trainer-led, co-ed teams that introduce young players to the basics in an engaging and supportive setting. Leagues for 1st–8th grade are typically separated by boys and girls, though divisions may be combined based on registration numbers to ensure the best possible experience for all players.

As a volunteer-based, non-profit organization, WAA relies on the support of our community. All recreational teams are coached by dedicated volunteers, no experience necessary! We encourage parents to get involved, and we offer special incentives for Head Coaches as a thank you for their commitment.

Please note: All team practice days, times, and locations are determined by the Head Coach.

Come be part of the WAA community, learn the game, make new friends, and most importantly, have fun!
