WAA Training Center/Sports Center Attendant
Part-time
Location: WAA Sports Campus, 2323 Liberty St., Aurora, IL 60502Hours: Flexible, weekdays 3:45pm to 10pm, Saturdays and Sundays varies depending on shift, 8am to 10pm
Qualifications: Must be a responsible and reliable person age 18 or older; some college coursework preferred in the area of sports management. Athletic experience in baseball/softball/soccer or other athletic experience preferred. Requires strong people and customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public. Possess general office skills, good phone etiquette and computer skills. Attention to detail, accuracy and dependability required. Ability to maintain discretion with regard to confidential matters and/or information. Must be able to project professional appearance, have valid driver’s license and provide own transportation.
Duties: Under the direction and supervision of the Facility Manager, the Training Center/Sports Center Attendant will provide customer service to the guests of the Training Center or Sports Center as well as be responsible for general facility housekeeping task. Scheduling of teams and individuals in the facility along with set up will be required.

Basketball Site Supervisor
Part-time
Location: Various Elementary and Middle School gyms in IPSD 204, OCSD 308
Hours: Saturdays, 8:30am to 6pm – some site times vary depending on gym scheduling
Begins Saturday, November 7th end Saturday, March 13th
Qualifications: Must be a responsible and reliable person age 18 or older. Athletic experience in basketball/baseball/softball/soccer or other athletic experience preferred but not required. Duties: Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Fields and Facilities, the Basketball Site/Gym Supervisor will provide customer service to the guest of the gym facilities. Be responsible for facility security and general housekeeping task. Together with the Basketball Director ensure basketball officials are present and gym is set up for games.

Youth Soccer Trainer (Ages 18 Months – 5 Years)
Part-time
Location: WAA Sports Campus, 2323 Liberty St., Aurora, IL 60502
Pay: $32.00 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Youth Soccer Trainer to lead engaging, age-appropriate sessions for children ages 18–36 months and 3–5 years. This program introduces young players to basic body mechanics and foundational soccer skills in a fun, supportive environment. Sessions focus on balance, coordination, spatial awareness, and early foot skills. Trainers are expected to adapt activities to match varying developmental and ability levels
Responsibilities
- Lead Saturday morning (8:45am-10am) soccer sessions for young children
- Create a positive, energetic, and safe learning environment
- Demonstrate basic soccer skills in a simple, age-appropriate way
- Manage group dynamics while ensuring each child feels included and supported
- Communicate effectively with parents and WAA staff as needed
Qualifications-Required
- Experience working with young children (toddlers and preschoolers preferred)
- Basic knowledge of soccer skills and concepts
- High energy, patience, and a positive attitude
- Ability to think creatively and keep children engaged
- Strong communication and classroom/group management skills
- Reliable and punctual
Qualifications-Preferred
- Background in coaching, early childhood education, or recreation programs
- Previous experience leading youth sports or activity-based classes
Program Details:
- Year round program, Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring Sessions
- Sessions take place at WAA Sports Center in Aurora
- Small group, development-focused format
