Keep your player active, learning, and having fun this fall with WAA Fall Softball, our instructional softball program for girls in 3rd–9th grade (2026 Fall grade). Open to all skill levels, this league focuses on developing fundamental softball skills, teamwork, and a love for the game in a positive, supportive environment. Volunteer coaches guide players through hitting, throwing, catching, and base running while emphasizing good sportsmanship and player development.

3rd–9th Grade Program

Season: Practices begin the week of August 10; Games begins Sunday, August 16
Games: 8-game season
Practices: One team practice per week, scheduled by the coach
Game Format: Games are played on Sundays after 11:00 AM in Naperville and Aurora. No games Labor Day Weekend.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

Join the WAA Recreational Softball Program for a fall season filled with fastpitch action, skill development, and fun! The program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the game—including hitting, throwing, catching, and base running—while building teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship in a positive environment.

WAA utilizes fields throughout School District 204, Fox Valley Park District, Wheatland Township, and Naperville Park District. Games are played within these community boundaries, and teams are formed using special requests, neighborhoods, and schools as guidelines.

All teams are led by dedicated volunteer coaches who determine practice locations, days, and times. Rosters, schedules, uniforms, and equipment are distributed to head coaches in early August. Final game and practice schedules will be available after all coach meetings are completed. Players will be contacted by their head coach within 48 hours of the coach meeting.
