Coach Spotlight

Dan Creedon

As a thank you to our coaches, we will be doing coach spotlights over the next few months. Our first coach in the spotlight is Dan Creedon! Dan has been coaching Flag Football with WAA for 9 years! Here's a little more information about Dan and his family:

Names of children and which WAA sports they have played:

• Michael Creedon, age 16 (sophomore at Nequa Valley High School)
• Played flag football from 2nd grade through 8th grade 
• Played basketball from 2nd grade through 4th grade
• Alex Creedon, age 13 (8th grade at All Saints Catholic Academy)
• Played flag football from 1st grade through 8th grade (currently)
• Played basketball 1st grade through 4th grade
• Evie Creedon, age 9 (4th grade at All Saints Catholic Academy)
• Played basketball 1st and 2nd grade
• Played softball 2nd grade through 4th grade (currently)

Why Dan loves coaching with WAA:

   "I've always loved football, and coaching at the WAA has allowed me to share that love of the game with my two boys. It has been amazing to coach them and their friends over the years. I have been very lucky to see them continue to develop as both players and young men over the nine years that I have coached with WAA. The WAA has always been extremely well run. It has always fostered a competitive environment with a focus on skill development and safety. It has been a great experience for me and my family throughout the years."
