Program Information

WAA's recreational softball program consists of four different divisions depending on your CURRENT (spring) school grade at the time of registration.

WAA utilizes fields in School District 204, Fox Valley Park District, Wheatland Township and Naperville Park District. Games will be played within the boundaries of these organizations.  Teams are organized based on special requests, neighborhoods and schools.

All coaches are volunteers and coaches set up the practice location, day and time. Rosters, schedules, uniforms and equipment are distributed to coaches in mid-May. Roster, game and practice schedules will not be available until after all coach meetings have been held. Players will be contacted by the coach of their team after distribution.

Games are played at locations in close proximity to the teams neighborhoods whenever possible. The 12 game season starts after Memorial Day and will run until mid-July. 1st & 2nd grade level will play on grass fields on Tuesday & Thursday evening with a 6:15pm game time. 3rd – 8th grade levels will typically play one week night game and one weekend game (typically Saturday). Game time is 6:15 PM on weeknights; Saturday game times will vary.

Practices will begin in May and games will begin after Memorial day and run through mid-July.
