WAA is OPEN and Plans to Play this Summer!

The State of Illinois has released its guidance for youth sports to reopen in Phase 3 of the Restore Illinois plan.  In addition, the Illinois Youth Soccer Association also released information for soccer programs.  Our staff has been working to ready our facilities and align our programs and plans with the current directives.

We are planning on playing sports this summer!  Our Team Chicago Soccer participants and our Ducks Baseball and Spikes Softball players will all began modified outdoor training.  Based our Recreational Baseball, Softball and Competitive Baseball survey results, an overwhelming majority (78%-92%) of respondents want to play ball this summer!  Our summer camps and soccer programs begin June 13th and our Wizards players can also begin modified training in June.

Below is a summary of plans, policies and procedures for the upcoming month.  We will update this as guidance changes and as we enter Phase 4.  In addition we have contacted all participants that are registered for summer sports and camps with specific information on those programs.
