Dear WAA Community,

Due to growing concerns about the Coronavirus and COVID19, all WAA activities are immediately SUSPENDED through April 5, 2020. This includes recreational, competitive and travel league practices, games, clinics, camps and pep rallies. 

We have not taken this decision lightly, but given the ongoing and rapid spread of the virus throughout the Midwest and across the United States we feel it important that we do everything possible to protect the health and safety of our players, families, coaches and staff.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will communicate updates as soon as we have them.  I urge you all to continue to follow the Center for Disease Control guidelines and stay safe and healthy.

The WAA office will remain open at this time, please check website for possible abbreiviated hours.  WAA facilities are open for individual or family rentals only.  

At WAA we are following protocols suggested by the CDC:

- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe. 

If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.  

WAA continues to clean all managed facilities often throughout the day, have hand sanitizer available and work with our partners to insure clean rental facilities.  

Our top priority is ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the WAA community.
