Winter Indoor Youth Soccer League
The Wheatland Athletic Association Indoor Soccer League is a CO-ED recreational program for pre-kindergarten through 9th grade. Indoor Recreational Soccer is a FUN! program in which players meet once a week to work with a trainer and to engage in a lively, fast-paced soccer game. Games are held on week-days and Saturdays, depending on the division. Weekly league play is trainer led and includes 10-15 minutes of skills practice prior to
each game. A parent coach is needed to volunteer to help with player
substitution during games.
K-1st grade: Play on the futsal court 5 v 5 with a max of 8 per team.
2nd - 9th grade: Play on the turf field 6 v 6 with a max of 10 per team.
Soccer Skills Development
Soccer Skills Development for 1st – 5th Graders.
Skills development will be offered on Mondays after school on the NEW Futsal Court. The program is designed for the recreational player who wants to enhance his or her soccer skills. Grade levels are combined.
There are three 6-week sessions with one game played each week running from November through early April. Players may register for one, two or three sessions. No games played during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year holidays.
