The Purpose of the Wheatland Athletic Association’s Code
of Conduct is to protect the children who participate in
our programs and to teach the lessons of good
sportsmanship.
v
At Wheatland Athletic Association, we
realize that we have some of the most dedicated and
helpful volunteers any organization could hope to have.
We want to continue to support our coaches and
positively encourage our players.
v
This document was prepared to outline the
Association’s expectations from it’s participants,
coaches and parents. When you register your child
to participate in the Wheatland Athletic Association
programs, you agree to the code of conduct set forth in
this document.
v
In order
to keep participation in WAA sports a rewarding
experience for all those involved, failure to abide by
the rules and guidelines in this document will be cause
for disciplinary action that could include, but is not
limited to the following:
Ø
Verbal warning by official, head coach,
and/or director of the league.
Ø
Written warning.
Ø
Suspension for a minimum of one game, up
to one year for parent and child. All violations
will be kept on file by Wheatland Athletic Association.
Ø
Legal action if necessary.
WAA Board Members represent the
organization and are considered officials at WAA events
and have the right to enforce violations of the code of
conduct.
Disciplinary action will be determined by
the Wheatland Athletic Association’s Board of Directors.
All decisions are final.
Thank you for your participation in WAA
programs. Have a great season!
