Carrie Gerardi is from Woodridge,
Illinois where she has been very active
in competitive sports such as softball,
volleyball, and soccer. She graduated
from Monmouth College with a degree in
Psychology and is currently attending
Northern Illinois University to pursue
her teaching certification and an
M.s.E.d.in Kinesiology and Physical
Education.
She has played softball at the
collegiate level for the College of
DuPage and for Monmouth. Carrie has also
coached softball at the high school
level and has taught and cared for
children of all ages working as a
childcare teacher and a day camp
counselor.
Throughout her experience as a
teacher and coach, she has become
particularly interested in teaching
young children developmental sports
skills. She believes that children will
benefit developmentally and physically
by improving |

skills such as balance
and coordination at ayoung age. Carrie aims
to engage young children in an
environment that is non-competitive and
full of sports and physical activity. |
