WAA Baseball Participants, (updated 11/6/17)
In accordance with WAA bat rules and regulations, we will be abiding by the following bat rules for the 2018 WAA Baseball season:
- All levels will be allowed to use 2018 USA stamped bats up to 2 5/8’ in diameter.
- All levels are permitted to use 2017 and prior bats as long as the following dimensions are honored and managed by parents and coaches alike:
- Only “Tee Ball” bats may be used. All bats must be marked for tee ball use.
- Recreational Rookie (K and 1 grade leagues) – 2 ¼’
- 2nd grade Single A – 2 ¼’
- 3rd grade Double A – 2 ¼’
- 4th/5th grade Triple A and Competitive Minors – 2 ¼’
- 6th/7th grade Triple A and Competitive Majors – 2 5/8’
- It is EVERY coach’s responsibility to ensure these rules are followed as written.
- Failure to follow the rules written herewith in upon an appeal by an opposing coach will result in an immediate out and all players returning to their prior positions (first offense in a given game) followed by a game forfeiture (second offense in same game).
