2017 Fall and Winter Basketball Camps and Scrimmages

Coach Ike's Sunday Skills Sessions

Get extra training on a Sunday. This class is held before Scrimmage Sunday's and will be age appropriate
drill/skill based. Our focus will be on ball-handling/dribbling, shooting, moves, passing and defense.  
Register for Sunday Skills and Scrimmage Sundays; the perfect way to get a solid two hours of extra court time
for six weeks at a time! 

Location: Scullen Middle School
Time: 3:00-3:50pm
Grades: 2nd - 7th grade, co-ed
Fee: $70
Session #1: Nov. 19, Dec. 3, 10, 17, Jan. 7, 14.
Session #2: Feb. 11, 18, 25, Mar. 4, 11, 18.

Scrimmage Sunday's

Scrimmage Sundays is a co-ed program for 2nd-7th graders.  After a 10-15 minute warm-up and focus on
the skill of the day, players will be teamed up by age and/or ability to play scrimmage games for the remaining
time. Sunday for 6 weeks. No additional practices.  The program is run by Coach Ike and the Jump City Staff.

Time: 4pm-5pm
Grades: 2nd - 7th grade, co-ed
Fee: $90
Session #1: Nov. 19, Dec. 3, 10, 17, Jan. 7, 14.
Session #2: Feb. 11, 18, 25, Mar. 4, 11, 18.

Coach Ike's Offensive Moves & Shooting Camp

Offensive Moves & Shooting Camp is perfect for the player that wants to improve his/her offensive effectiveness.  The drills will be suited to age/ability level.

Friday's "Offensive Moves"
- Dynamic warm-up: preparing the body (muscles) for movement.
- Dribbling skills: right and left hand, crossovers, speed, controlled, against defensive pressure and game/contest situations.
- Shooting BEEF (Balance, Eyes, Elbows, Follow through): stationary (spot), post (inside shooting), ROBOT (Range, Open, Balance, One-count, Teammates) and shooting games/contests.
- Offensive moves: one on one situations, footwork and fakes.  The ability to drive past a defender.

Times: 7:30-9:00pm
Grades: Co-ed 3rd-7th
Fee: $65
- Session 1 (ball handling I and II):  October 20, 27, Nov. 3, 10

**I: beginning level player/skill **II: advanced level or repeat camper

Requirements for participation include:

  • Each participant must supply their own basketball for all programs.
  • Athletic clothing and non-marking gym shoes are required for programs.
  • Participants and siblings must be supervised at all times in school facilities.
  • Participants,children parents and siblings must obey all school rules and regulations
